Tastebud Time-Machine: A Culinary Journey through Italian Food
On 10th October our Glasgow coordinator Federico organised the sold-out ‘Tastebud Time-Machine: A Culinary Journey through Italian Food’ evening.
This was a collaborative event with Eusebi’s deli. as part of our running collaboration with CCA Glasgow ‘Cooking Pot’ series.
From the Romans to the modern day, Federico took us on the journey of Italian cuisine through art, trade, geography & of course traditional ingredients served up as delicious tasters for our guests by Giovanna & the Eusebi team.
Congrats to Federico and everyone involved 🙂
We’re always looking for new Ideas & partnerships for the next series of ‘Cooking Pot’ events in 2018 – so if you’ve got an idea & want to make it a reality do get in touch with us via sfynscotland@gmail.com.
The Slow Food Youth Network (SFYN) is an international network of young people aged 18-35 who bring about changes in the field of food production and consumption through positive, creative and innovative methods. It was founded by a number of enthusiastic and motivated young people with a passion for good, clean and fair food, and an interest in sustainability issues.
Slow Food Youth Network Scotland was started in 2015 to develop a network of young people across Scotland who wanted to do just that - provide alternative, creative and social opportunities for young people to engage with, and learn about food issues whilst sharing ideas for innovative solutions.
By exploring Scotland’s food system in a fun and social way, supporting local projects and building strong connections with our international network we have begun to bring people together to help create change within the global food system. In our third year we plan to build on our success in a number of ways and are currently setting ourselves up as a Social Enterprise.
